Logan’s Six Divine Places to Dine

Ever wondered what the top restaurants in Logan Utah are?

Well, here is your list!  I have taken the top rated restaurants that appear in the top ten of all three of these sites – yelp.com, tripadvisor.com and google.com and condensed them here for your consideration.

In no particular order these are the top rated restaurants in Logan, Utah –

Tandoori Oven

Open since 2008, Tandoori Oven is an amazing Indian Restaurant located at 720 E. 1000 N, in Logan. It is right next to a Sinclair gas station, but don’t let that fool you, the restaurant has won several awards for its authentic Indian food. My favorite dish is the Chicken Tikka Masala served with the garlic naan. A close second is the Butter Chicken. They have a great lunch buffet with different dishes to try. If you are in the mood for fantastic Indian food stop by Monday – Saturday from 11 AM – 10 PM. Check out their Facebook page by clicking here.

Jack’s Wood Fired Oven

Located at 256 N Main St in Logan, Utah, Jack’s Wood Fired Oven offers a unique dinning experience. I love the description from their Facebook page – “Jack’s is Cache Valley’s one and only wood fired oven, and Logan’s premier pizzeria. Here at Jack’s we offer authentic wood-fired pies and pastas, house-made soups, fresh salads, and delicious made from scratch desserts.” I’ve never had anything here that I haven’t liked. If you like pizza then visiting Jack’s Wood Fired Oven is a must! Stop by Monday -Thursday from 11:30 AM – 9 PM and Friday & Saturday from 11:30 AM – 10 PM. Check out their Facebook page by clicking here.

Le Nonne Ristorante Italiano

If you want excellent Italian food you have to visit Le Nonne! It’s hard to name a favorite dish because I love so many of them. When I ask friends if they have been to Le Nonne their swooning reaction is always a sincere expression of how much they love the restaurant. It is located at 129 N 100 E in Logan, Utah and it is important to note it is only open for dinner Monday – Saturday from 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM. Check out their Facebook page by clicking here.

Herm’s Inn

Take a drive to 1435 Canyon Road in Logan to visit Herm’s Inn, you won’t be disappointed. I love this statement on their website, “WELCOME TO THE PLACE WHERE THE PANCAKES ARE BIGGER THAN YOUR FACE AND THE GRAVY TASTES LIKE HEAVEN. WE ARE HERM’S & WE ARE TASTY.” I feel like that pretty much sums it up and yes everything I have eaten there is tasty. I have had breakfast and lots of the sandwiches and I have never been disappointed. They have a different version of mac and cheese each day, the salads are fresh and the fries are fresh cut. I love their hot chocolate to! Don’t plan on visiting for dinner as they are open Monday – Sunday from 7 AM – 2 PM. Check out their Facebook page by clicking here.

Logans Heroes

Looking for a great sandwich? Search no farther than Logan’s Heroes. Conveniently located at 101 S Main St in Logan, this restaurant has been a staple sandwich shop for a long time. The owner isn’t active on the internet or social media so I don’t know all of the history, but I grew up here in Cache Valley and it has been around for over 25 years. The Spicy Italian sandwich is my favorite and is hand made by the owner, who is very friendly and has an amazing memory for remembering customers and their favorite sandwiches. This along with great ingredients, has created a great recipe for success. Stop by Monday – Saturday from 9 AM – 7 PM. Check out the unofficial Facebook page by clicking here.

Angie’s Restaurant

Angie’s is known for providing home cooked American food and is the place “Where the locals eat.” If you want breakfast, lunch or dinner this is the place to go! We like to go on Mondays when kids eat free. I love the Turkey Avocado sandwich with tater tots, anything on the breakfast menu, the cinnamon rolls and again I love their hot chocolate. Maybe it just takes me back to when I would skip school and go to Angie’s instead. I can’t talk about Angie’s without mentioning the  “Clean the Sink” challenge. This fun and famous dessert challenge is not for the faint of heart. It is a HUGE banana split in a kitchen sink, not a regular sized sink, but it’s not tiny either. If you can finish the mounds of ice cream and yummy toppings that cover the fresh bananas you will earn a bumper sticker that says, “I Cleaned the Sink at Angie’s.” You’ll see this proudly displayed on many cars in Cache Valley. Enjoy Angie’s on Mondays – Thursdays 6 AM – 10 PM, Friday and Saturday from 6 AM – 11 PM, or Sunday from 6 AM – 9 PM. Check out their Facebook page by clicking here.

El Toro Viejo is on two of those lists and the honorable mentions go to Takara Sushi, The Crepery, Mundo’s Latin Grill, Sabores Cuisine, Morty’s Cafe, The Waffle Iron, Cafe Sabor, The Beehive Pub & Grill, and The Elements Restaurant.
